You post two prices: a cash price and a card price. The card price covers the processing cost, so the fee isn't coming out of your margin. Customers paying cash pay the cash price.
Is it legal in Texas?
Yes — when set up correctly. Card-brand (Visa/Mastercard) rules and state rules apply to signage, receipts and how prices are shown. We stay current on those rules and set up your program to comply.
Will I need new equipment?
